I touched my finger to the ice for about 2 seconds and in that time it melted rapidly. That is what has happened here in Australia at least - we have been here for what? 200 years and we have already destroyed most of the natural beauty and turned it into farmland.

Global warming is something big right now. You're absloutly right. 
I wish were could return much of the Earth back to the way it was with a gazillion trees everywhere and stuff.
